What is an electric motor?
A motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, hence an electric motor.
More specifically, an electric motor is a technique and system through which electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy. Its structure and power are regulated according to the type. Electric motors are a hot topic in electrical engineering. Electric motors are basically built based on Farad's law of induction.
What are the types of electric motors?
According to the type of current flowing in the motor Motors are generally of two types.
For example:
AC motor
DC motor
AC motor: We are more or less familiar with AC motor. Electric fans, water pumps, etc. are all examples of AC motors.
DC Motor: Several types of DC motors are available in the market. Some of them have more RPM (Revolution Per Minute), some have less RPM, some have more torque, some have less torque, etc.
An induction motor has two main parts?
